CLASS: Desert Gardens

Have you ever watched a Western or TV documentary on desert plants and thought, "Wow! I wish I could grow those!" Well, xeric desert plants are some of the easiest species to maintain, with their low water requirements and relatively few pests and diseases. We'll discuss both winter-hardy and tender annual selections, create a personal "tabletop" desert garden, and briefly walk the garden to observe some desert landscapes in action.
