Preserve the beauty of nature in a unique way by creating leaf castings. These beautiful "leaves" are great keepsakes and loads of fun to make.
Rebecca Turk will teach you her steps and tricks to making these pieces of art. All materials are supplied but feel to bring a favorite leaf to try. A piece of plywood will be provided to aid in transport home. This hobby is addictive, so once you start, you won’t want to stop! You’ll receive directions, care instructions and creative ideas to further your artistic experience. Hands-on learning is always best, so you’ll make some leaf castings to take home.
Join us on Thursday, May 25th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Lunch will be provided, so please notify us of any special dietary restrictions. If you have any special needs for the class, please let us know in the comment box below. Please wear clothes you are willing to get dirty in.
