ABOUT ABOUT

Consider the performance of your home landscape. Would you describe it as a fit, functional work of art that reflects your lifestyle and encourages outdoor activity? If not, join landscape designer Preston Montague for a design workshop that will help you revise and reboot your outdoor space!

Landscape Potential I introduces participants to the process designers use to develop concepts, solve problems and map the landscape. This exciting workshop begins with a presentation on landscape design basics and is followed by a one-on-one consultation with Preston on issues facing you in your landscape. By the end of the workshop, participants will have not only learned techniques for solving problems as a designer, but will also have personalized professional advice for developing the potential of their home's most dynamic "room."

Join us on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm for a creative day in the garden. Class registration is limited to the first 10 participants, so register quickly! All materials for the class will be provided, but please bring your lunch. We have refrigerators to store your food and a microwave if needed. Class attendees must bring the following for best results:

A survey of their property, a plat, or maps downloaded from your county's GIS web service
Copious photos of the property (or area to be designed) printed individually and in color at 8.5 x 11"
A brief list of problems and aspirations for the landscape
