Come experiment with expert Caroline Harper using simple, natural dye techniques to create beautiful sustainable color in textiles.
Join us on Thursday, April 19th for this 3 hour hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics in natural dyeing using materials readily available in your kitchen and in nature. The class will explore fabric & dye preparation to achieve beautiful colors. Caroline will have a range of dye stuffs available for you to play with including the following colors: cochineal (reddish pink), Osage orange (yellow), sandalwood (orange rust), indigo (blue) and a surprise color.
